Get Fit St Pete

Get Fun! Get Friendship! And most importantly, Get Fit!

By Dakota Priest, Community Health Leader

It is with great excitement that Healthy St. Pete is announcing a revamped look for its Get Fit St. Pete program. Starting April 2023, the Get Fit program schedule will be filled with several new classes, all aiming to promote health and wellness and community involvement.

Get Fit St. Pete is also adding a new day to the schedule due to increasing participation. The Get Fit St Pete’s programming will now include Fridays as well as our regular Tuesday/Saturday events. As always, Get Fit classes are geared for participation and accommodate any skill or knowledge level. The program’s goals are to get class registrants out and interacting with fellow community members while providing opportunities to visit different places throughout the city.

Are you exploring opportunities to increase cardio?

Look into our Cardio Kickboxing or the Trail Fun Run events at beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve.

Are you seeking the chance to be active on/in the water?

Consider checking out our new Kayaking or Water Aerobics.

Do you desire optimized fitness while practicing mindfulness?

Then Tai Chi or Yoga in the Park might be just the class for you.

All this and we haven’t yet mentioned that fan favorite Pickleball 101 sessions will be occurring twice a month at two different locations.

We offer many more classes as well. Visit  Healthy St. Pete Get Fit page to find more information about each class.
