Fitness Programs

Get Fit St. Pete aims to actively engage all those who live, work and play in St. Petersburg by offering free fitness education and programming in parks across the city.

FITNESS IN THE PARK

Fitness in the Park provides access to FREE workouts in parks throughout the city.  Classes are taught by local fitness professionals in an assortment of exercise formats.  All workouts are appropriate for all ages and levels. The goal in this program is to challenge participants to try something new in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Check out our monthly classes below.

Yoga in the Park

Neighborhood Walk
4th Saturday, 9-10 AM, Your Neighborhood – Contact HSP to be a Wellness Champion!

Hoola-Fit

Tai Chi

AARP FitLot Workout
4th Tuesday, 6-7 PM, Booker Creek Park, 2300 13th Ave. N.

TRAINER TUESDAY

The mission of Trainer Tuesday was to educate, inform and inspire residents of St. Pete to get out and get active utilizing the free equipment available at exercise zones throughout the city. This program operated in 2018-2019 and highlighted each of the eleven exercise zones in our community.  Trainers donated their time to educate residents about the equipment at an in person event, and also filmed videos that are available to view below.
